How to adjust extracted field by using a prebuilt model using Azure Form Recognizer?

Hi, we're trying to user Azure Form Recognizer extract information from the IdentityDocument. As mentioned by Microsoft document, currently Azure Form Recognizer is supporting Canadian Driver License and Identity Card. However, when we did some tests using Form Recognizer Studio, selected "Prebuilt model - Identity documents", the gender field was always missing in the response. It seems there is no way that we can train the prebuilt model. Is there a way to "label" the gender field so we can extract the gender from the Canadian Driving License? Thank you.

Hi @Xu, Emma (MPBSD) , Thank you for your patience.

Currently supported fields for non-US ID documents are FirstName, LastName, Document Number, Birthdate, Expiration Date, Issue Date and Address.

So, Canada (non-US) driver license field support can be found in below document: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/applied-ai-services/form-recognizer/concept-id-document?view=form-recog-3.0.0#iddocument-fields-extracted

Could you explain the priority of this requested feature?

Unfortunately, prebuilt models cannot be labeled/adjusted. The only option could be Custom models but not sure if that helps your use case.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Vasavi
