What Happens if Answering an Own Question?

There are instances where I answer my own question after no one replied for a while, and then try to solve the problem and eventually find a solution. What happens in this case as the system doesn't allow to accept own answer?
Is there a moderator or someone like that from Microsoft who can look after such things?
It would be good to have a closure rather than the questions hanging open when an answer exists.

2023-03-25T11:38:24.99+00:00 Thanks for the info @Dave Patrick . Although this link tells me that I can answer my own question, which thus far I did on at least 3 occasions, there is no indication of how the Answer is made to be accepted (by me or some moderator). Or, am I missing something?
