My ScreenToGif animation recording vanished for my posting; Is GIF not supported on Microsoft Q&A?

I answered my own question and also went into the trouble of including a working demo with ScreenToGif animation recording, which I uploaded with the answer. There was no rejection during the upload.

I was compelled to use ScreenToGif since at least three Screen Recorder apps (at Microsoft Store) I tried out, all failed to make a basic recording. Now when I looked at my answer, the GIF recording is missing.

I understand GIF is not in vogue anymore and wondered if there is an issue with this animation format. If so, I was wondering why the uploader didn't reject there than quietly remove it.

Did the size was < 3 MB ?

I posted dozens of animated GIF (mainly on programming forums) made with ScreenToGif and it has always worked.
