Contentlib full space

Question

Morning!!

I need help with ContentLib. My server is physical and i can't add more space to HDD.

I try to use ContentLibraryCleanup.exe but we haven't orphan packages, just one.

I know we should remove packages from DP to clean it, but how can i know what packages can i delete?

Maybe used in TS or something, you know?

Hi all, Sorry for the delay, i was on holiday's. I don't understand the DP Group with boundary group. I added these two DP's to boundary group, but i can't add the DP group to boundary group. Do yo mean add the second DP to the boundary group, like this?

Hi @SergiEE, 

I recommended that you could add a new DP and create a DP group contains these tow DPs. After that, distribute these packages to the DP group. These two DPs will have the same content, the client will get the content from there. Do not forget adding the DP group to the related boundary groups.

After that, you can delete anything from the old DP.

The tool only affects the content on the distribution point that you specify when you run the tool. The tool can't remove content from the content library on the site server.

The tool doesn't support removing content from the site server, which has a single content library. When the site server also has the distribution point role, if a package isn't targeted to the server, the package is still in the single content library.

but how can i know what packages can i delete?
