Recently we are seeing shutdown state in the Hostpool Session Hosts. What is the difference and it is something expected.

Session Host status details can be familiarized from Microsoft documentation here

    Hello Satis, Chitharthane

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.

In Azure Virtual Desktop, Shutdown state means that the session host has been shut down. If the agent enters a shutdown state before connecting to the broker, its status will change to Unavailable. If you've shut down your session host and see an Unavailable status, that means the session host shut down before it could update the status, and doesn't indicate an issue.

    Hope that helps.
