Cisco Jabber in co-existence with Teams

Hello,

Please i need your help on this issue.

We have an issue where users that use Cisco Jabber in co-existence with Teams cannot change the "Register Teams as chat app for Office" option to show the presence status correctly?

 

I'm hoping that this is a known issue within MS and that a fix is possible.

Do you mean you would like to change the default IM application for Office?

If yes, this setting is controlled by registry.

Please refer to this link: How Office integrates with an IM client application

Path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IM Providers

You would see a value named DefaultIMApp which you can modify.
