App Service Domain: How to add Privacy Protection to an existing record

I have two App Service Domains for domain names. They are both set to Auto Renew. One has Privacy Protection Enabled. One has Privacy Protection Disabled.

How can I enable Privacy Protection on the domain that has it disabled? I've searched these forums and the wider internet with no result.

To enable Privacy Protection on an App Service Domain that has it disabled, you can follow these steps:

Go to the Azure portal and sign in to your account.

Navigate to the App Service Domain resource for which you want to enable Privacy Protection.

Click on the "DNS Zone" option under the Settings section.

In the DNS Zone blade, find the record that you want to enable Privacy Protection for.

Click on the ellipsis (three dots) button next to the record and select "Edit Record".

In the Edit Record blade, scroll down to the "Privacy" section and toggle the "Private Registration" option to "On".

Fill in the required information for the registrant, administrative, technical, and billing contacts.

Click on the "Save" button to save your changes.

Once you have completed these steps, the record for your App Service Domain will have Privacy Protection enabled.

@Dean Smith Thanks for your patience on this. I have checked with App Service Engineering team they have confirmed that enabling Privacy Protection after the app service domain creation is not a supported. I would suggest you raise feedback request here, our engineering team will be actively monitoring this forum as well. Feel free to reach back to me if you have any further questions on this.
