Could not connect to the remote container registry !

Hello,

For me, many a times, we face the below issue:

This is quite weird, and no reason listed anywhere. Please suggest if any soluiton.

This error can occur due to various reasons. One of the reasons could be that the registry login server did not respond with a refresh token, so access to the target registry was denied. Another reason could be that there are firewall or network configurations that prevent registry access.

Please try the below and see if that helps:

Verify if the user has the right permissions on the registry.

Run az login to refresh permissions, tokens, and credentials.

Check if Docker client and daemon (Docker Engine) are running in your environment.

Confirm that the Docker CLI client and daemon (Docker Engine) are running in your environment.

Configure firewall rules to access the registry's public REST and data endpoints.

Configure public access to registry.

Check your network connectivity to the Azure container registry. Ensure that your firewall is not blocking access to the registry, and that you have a stable internet connection.

Confirm that the virtual network is configured with either a private endpoint for Private Link or a service endpoint.

Ensure that you are using a compatible version of Docker to connect to the container registry.

Hi @vipullag-MSFT , all the above checks are already verified. My machine doesn't have any firewall. Further, I am the owner of the subscription, so I should at least see the repositories in the portal. Here, portal itself gives me the error as mentioned above. This I have observed in two ACRs we have created in our subscription. Kindly let me know if you need to have a call on this.

Regarding your issue that is because you have your public network restricted to some IP or even disabled. Please allow to all network and then you are going to see the repository.
