Where are the classic VM images after migrating fto ARM?

Hi,

I was wondering where can I see the classic VM images after ARM to ASM migration.

Are they converted to be used with ASM, if yes where can I find them?

The Resource Manager deployment model doesn't have the concept of Classic images and disks.

When the storage account is migrated, Classic images and disks are no longer visible in the Azure portal, but the backing VHDs remain in the storage account.

You are correct, the original Classic VM images cannot be used directly in an ARM-based deployment, so there is no need to keep them after the migration process is completed. However, before you delete any resources, you should always ensure that you have a backup or a copy of any data that you need to retain. You should also ensure that you have properly migrated any necessary data or configurations to your new ARM-based resources before deleting the old Classic VM images.

how does it affect our offering in the Marketplace? Those images were used to build our Marketplace offering.

If you have an Azure Marketplace offering that was built on top of a Classic VM image, the migration of the original Classic VM image to an ARM-based deployment model will not directly affect your offering in the Marketplace.

However, you will need to update your Marketplace offering to use an ARM-based VM image instead of the Classic VM image. This means that you will need to create a new ARM-based VM image and update your Marketplace offering to reference the new image.
