Can I statically assign the same IP on two different network connections in Windows 11?

Good afternoon,

I'm attempting to get a Dell laptop running Windows 11 on a static network working with both the onboard NIC and the passthrough NIC. The connection uses the passthrough NIC when it is connected to a docking station. I am able to input the static IP settings for the onboard NIC without issue. After I enter the static IP settings for the passthrough NIC, I get a warning message about using the same IP address and click that I do not want to fix it and then save it. If I go back into the passthrough NIC settings, the IP address and the subnet mask have been blanked out.

Note that both network cards will not be in use at the same time.

I'm assuming that Windows 11 is preventing me from configuring two network connections with the same settings. If so, is there a way to allow this?

Simplest solution may be to script it.
