Oula1

This indicated that Oula1 made the newest post on Mar 29, 2023, 12:15 AM.

The thread was opened.

It did not open to the newest post.

Time was spent searching for the newest post.

Time was spent searching for each Show comments for this answer.

Each Show comments for this answer that was found was clicked.

There was no post found dated Mar 29, 2023 12:15.

A lot of time was spent searching for a post that was never found.

This was also wasted time.

Why not have a method to quickly find the latest post in a thread?

.

Suppose there was a post but one "Show comments for this answer" was missed and not clicked?

.

.

Suppose there was a thread that was three or more pages with a large number of "Show comments for this answer" and members did not want to spend time searching for each "Show comments for this answer"?

.

.

Suppose there was an edit, and or post delete and the member did not have the capability to view the edit or that a post had been deleted?

.

.

Before the January website upgrade an email link would open to the newest post.

Is this still supposed to work?

.

.

Members need methods to quickly go to the newest post in a thread and no longer waste time searching for posts that may not be there.

Please improve the Microsoft Q&A website so that members know in advance whether there is or is not a new post and no longer waste time searching for

a) a post that is somewhere in the middle of a multipage thread

b) a post that was edited / deleted

.

.

One option is to place a button on the top of each thread that always opens the newest post.

Another is to place a button on the top of each thread for the two most recent posts so that either the most recent or second most recent posts are opened.
