Why can't I choose any Availability Zone in Azure Database for MySQL Flexible Server?

Hi,

Azure Database for MySQL Flexible Server with Zone Redundancy Option

I'm trying to create it in the Japan East Region.

When I check it from the Azure Portal, I can't select Primary Availability Zone 1.

When I tried on another day, the primary could choose 1, but the secondary could not choose availability zone 2,

It seems that availability zones that can be created differ depending on the day.

Why is this?

I have tried to reproduce and could also not find option to select Availability Zone 1 from the dropdown while creation of Azure MySQL Flexible Server in Japan East region currently.

As per the official documentation here, it is mentioned that: Zone redundant high availability is available in limited set of regions : Southeast Asia, WestUS 2, West Europe and East US. Until the service expands to other regions too, we recommend to use above mentioned regions for instance East US:

As I understand, you are facing issue in creation of Azure MySQL Flexible Server in Japan East Region and could not enable zone redundancy option.

I tried to reproduce by creating Azure MySQL Flexible Server in Japan East Region and was able to do so:

However, currently Zone redundant high availability is not supported in the Japan East region.
