Hi,

I'm having a time zone issue when adding a new participant to a meeting series where the time zone changes without me requesting it. I've checked the time zone on my Windows computer and in Outlook as follows:

  1. Outook time zone set to (UTC-7:00) Yukon.
  2. Windows-->Setting--> Date & Time set to (UTC-07:00) Yukon.
  • Where adjust for daylight savings is off.
  • Also, there is no second time zone indicated.

I ran a test to recreate my issue as follows:

  1. Meeting series is created in Outlook calendar. Everything looks correct.
  2. I open MS Teams and add a new participant to the meeting series and save.
  3. The meeting series in MS Teams jumps up in my Teams calendar to 7 hours earlier. Note, I didn't touch time. If you open it it displays the original time I had selected.
  4. I check in Outlook Calendar where I see the invite has moved to 7 hours earlier as well and the meeting series has changed time zone from "(UTC-7:00) Yukon" to "Coordinated Universal Time."

For my process steps, please refer to the attached. How can I stop the automatic time zone change around my meeting series when adding a participant in Microsoft Teams?

    Hi @Meera Bradshaw

    Since the cause of this issue may be with backend (Teams integrate with Exchange), if possible please consider creating a service request in Microsoft 365 admin center>Support>New service request to contact support for further investigation.

    Thanks for your understanding.
