Android Google code scanner API bindings

Hello, recently Google upgraded the code scanner API from beta to GA. This is something we are really interested in our .NET 7 Android app. When can Microsoft release the C# bindings to access this library? What is the best place to request something like this? Or is the main option to create/maintain our own bindings?

Thanks, I already posted a discussion and issue in Github, but that repo does not seem very active.

Thanks for the response. We already looked at that and it might be the backup solution. But we don't have a MAUI app, so it would take some time to import the relevant parts into Android. But also we do not need custom control of the camera, request additional permissions, increase app size... so delegating the work to Google Play Services is much more ideal. This is possible on Kotlin Android app and should be accessible in .NET Android as well.
