Hello Colleagues,

We have 1 Pooled type host pool which 2 session hosts has. These session hosts name are below.

Session host1: test1-0

Session host1: test1-1

*Prefix is "test1".

Also, We have 1 VM which is "test1-2". (this is not session host. )

My question is....

Which name session host will be created automatically if we'll add new session host at the host pool in this case? test1-2? test1-3?
we'll not use extra ARM template during deploy session host.

    Hello, @Mao !

What happens if there is a conflict between the name of a VM and a session host?

Assuming the scenario above, what would happen if you have a VM with a name of test1-2 and a session host that is expected to be named test1-2? The session host would be named test1-2 as expected however it would then run into an issue during domain join. This would be similar to any other Windows system you try to join when the name already exists.

    I hope this helps!
