Erro while uploading file in document library webpart.

When we drag & add email to Sharepoint homepage where our webpart is added of document library.

The email is deleted from the inbox.

Could you help on this?

Yes, as you said, we can see this icon🚫 while dragging. Our team has conducted tests, and none of them can drag and drop emails into the library. Since we cannot reproduce your problem, we suggest that you open a new services request in the M365 admin center, and a professional person will help you solve it. User's image

You added a document library web part to the sharepoint home page, and then how did you drag and drop the email into the web part? Can you provide me with more detailed steps or screenshots? According to my test, I can't drag the email or its attachment directly into the web part.

Hi @Xyza Xue_MSFT ,

Please refer the below image.

After editing Home page, adding document library & selecting documents.

After selecting documents folder as a document library,

As, you can see now, above 2 documents are of email type (which I have drag from Inbox) and later it got disappeared from Inbox. And, move to delete folder.

If I do same thing of dragging from inbox but in the Documents tab from left navigation (refer 2nd imaage). The email does not get disappear.

Are you using sharepoint 2019 or sharepoint online? Have you added custom code to the Home page? According to my test, I can't drag and drop emails into my sharepoint library or document web part.

Hi @Xyza Xue_MSFT ,

We are using Sharepoint Online. We have not added any custom code to SP homepage.

While editing homepage, we are getting option to add document library webpart. We are adding that only.

I am not getting why you are not able to drag & drop.

First, while dragging from email, you may see this icon🚫 while dragging, But, still we are able to drop in the Documents in SP homepage.

Can you try once this?

Hi again,

Also, We are not facing any email disappearing from inbox, while we are dragging in the document tab . Only facing while dragging in the document section in the homepage of the site.
