Calendar from Teams channel doesn't show when accessing from Teams mobile app and Viva Connections?

I have added the Group Calendar web part to the home page of my Teams SharePoint site. When viewing the home page from the Teams desktop app or through the browser window, the events display correctly. When viewing from the Teams mobile app and Viva Connections, the events do not display and I get the following message: The group calendar is only available to its members. To see the group calendar, join NAME OF TEAM. I get the same experience when I access the Teams SharePoint site through the SharePoint mobile app as well.

How can I get the calendar events to show when viewing the Teams SharePoint site on mobile?
