Why I can't find CUDA on "Nvidia GPU-Optimized Pytorch VMI"

We have recently started a VM on Azure with the following image:  Nvidia GPU-Optimized Pytorch VMI.

It seems that CUDA is not installed on the vm.

We thought CUDA and PyTorch would have been already installed with the selected image - Nvidia GPU-Optimized Pytorch VMI.

We are not sure of which cuda version is compatible with the nvidia driver & Ubuntu installed on this vm.

  • Nvidia driver: f969:00:00.0 3D controller: NVIDIA Corporation GA102GL [A10] (rev a1)
  • Ubuntu: 20.04.4 LT

Any advise.
