Change Tracking and Inventory in Azure Automation feature tracks changes in virtual machines hosted in Azure, on-premises, and other cloud environments to help you pinpoint operational and environmental issues. So, it is not possible to remove a Virtual Machine from the Change Tracker list. The only way to remove a Virtual Machine from Change Tracker is to Disable Change Tracking from a virtual machine.
- Disassociate Data Collection Rule (DCR) from a VM
- Uninstall change tracking extension.
