Metadata .dll file is not creating.

I am getting the following error when building any xamarin forms project in visual studio

'/Users/faizan/Desktop/Health-Safety-App/HealthSafetyApp/bin/Debug/netstandard2.0/ref/HealthSafetyApp.dll' could not be found

it does not generate ref/HealthSafetyApp.dll file.

Your app named "HealthSafety" and the HealthSafetyApp.dll could not be found, right? You could try to clean the bin/obj folder then build again.

In addition, you said you got the error when building any xamarin forms project in visual studio, did you update VS? You could try to remove the .vs file.

And are there any other errors? What's the detailed VS version, Xamarin version?
