How do you identify devices with default scope tags?

Hi,

I am new to Intune and need to find a way to identify the devices with the "default" scope tag. I have a fairly complex setup that is going to be using 10's, if not 100's of scope tags, so as the admin of the console, I need to be able to see the devices that have not been given the correct scope tags.

I'm guessing I could use a dynamic group to identify them, however, I've not found the correct query to achieve this.

Is there anything built into the Intune console that will flag up devices with the default tag applied?

I have also tried to add the scope tag as a column in the device list and I wasn't able to do this either...

Any guidance on any of the above would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance - Dan

@IntuneUser, Thanks for posting in Q&A.

Based on my checking, in Intune portal, we can only see the device scope tag under device properties. User's image

Currently, no other place to find it in a batch in the portal. You can feedback to Intune uservoice to see if we can get this feature in the future:

After doing more researching, I find some links describe the auto assign scope tags. You can read it for your reference to see if it can give you some help.

Note: Non Microsoft link, just for the reference.

Hope the above information can help.
