Hi, We have our domain as "domain.com.ar" but we decided to buy the same domain name but with only ".com" (as "domain.com") to operate in other countries. First we created a new user using the new domain because we didnt know the impact it will have in our business. Now we want to merge them together. Our solution is to add "******@domain.com" as alias and then set it as primary mail address. So we need to delete the user we created to add it. And the problem is that we dont want to lose anything for those temporary accounts. -Users: ******@domain.com.ar -Temporary users: ******@domain.com We want to know

  1. How to merge them together and leave ******@domain.com as primary without losing anything from both users?
  2. Impacts this will have.

Best regards, Tomas Cossara

To merge the two accounts without losing any data, you can follow these steps: nullnull

By following these steps, you will be able to merge the two accounts together and set "******@domain.com" as the primary email address without losing any data. The shared mailbox will retain all the emails and other data from the temporary user account. However, it's important to note that there may be some impacts to your organization's email flow and permissions as a result of this merge. You should carefully review your existing email routing and permissions settings to ensure they will continue to function as expected after the merge.
