    @04032588 Thanks for reaching here!

    The Logic Apps Standard WS1/WS2/WS3 plan supports local development on Windows, Linux and Mac, offers a new layout engine that supports complex workflows, and enables customized connector extensions and to leverage the containerized runtime to run Logic Apps locally, in the cloud, or on premises with virtual network capabilities.   Here is the link to the documentation that explains the differences between Azure App Service Plan and Logic Apps Standard WS1/WS2/WS3 plans: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/logic-apps/single-tenant-overview-compare   Also see:  Standard plan for a selected region on the Azure Logic Apps pricing page.   To answer your second question, The Logic Apps Standard plans are designed specifically for running Logic Apps workflows, while the Azure App Service Plan is a more general hosting environment for web apps, mobile app backends, RESTful APIs, and it provides a fully managed platform for building, deploying, and scaling web apps and APIs.

    App Service plans come in several tiers, including Free, Shared, Basic, Standard, Premium, and Isolated. Each tier provides different levels of features and resources, such as CPU, memory, storage, and network bandwidth.

    In summary, Azure Logic Apps Standard plans are designed specifically for running Logic Apps workflows, while Azure App Service plan is a more general hosting environment for web apps, APIs, and more.
