Sharepoint Document Library Multipe lines of text field appears to have a limit in length even though "Allow unlimited length" is selected

Question

I am receiving the following message in Power Automate using REST to update a multi-line field in a Document Library which is set to "Allow unlimited length in document libraries"

"The maximum number of bytes allowed to be read from the stream has been exceeded. After the last read operation, a total of 1049600 bytes has been read from the stream; however a maximum of 1048576 bytes is allowed"

My understanding from reading documentation is that the limit for a List is 63,999 characters, while for a Document library it's Unlimited. Since I'm updating a Doc library field it's not clear why I am receiving this error message.

Per my research, the Multiple Lines of text column in the SharePoint Online allows the unlimited length by enabling the Allow unlimited length in the Column settings but the Character limit for Multiple Lines of text column in both SharePoint Online list and library can store up to 63,999 characters. This limit is not only for list, library also have this limit. Here is the document for more details

thanks for providing the document. Given this, the option when creating a field in a Document Library "Allow unlimited length in document libraries:" is misleading since there is a limit.
