I do not know why my laptop opens for Bitlock key screen I DO NOT HAVE KEY no other choices work reset etc.

Need help, locked at Bitlock key screen, Microsoft acct says I do not have one. It is an HP laptop, I just tried using it since purchase in 2022. I did not recall setting a key, BUT WHO OR HOW DO I KNOW IS IT HP I NEED HELP FROM OR MICROSOFT? Laptop has no restore date, it will not reset and no other available on this bluescreen does anything. If I turn it off, it restarts in the same screen. I purchased a Microsoftware package from a reseller, and it is suppose not need renewal every year. He installed it on my laptop, and the first time I used Word and tried finding templates to use is when my laptop went to this Bitlock screen. I contacted that person and he told me this was with my laptop not anything with the Microsoft software. I did at one time have a Microsoft subscription. I am ready to cry and have a meltdown. Only serious people reply, if you believe you can help me. God Bless. I have to put this down now for a while it is 4 hrs of trying

    Some places to look for the bitlocker key.

    Without a recovery key you'll need to clean install it again.
