Emails from messaging.microsoft.com to our google account fail

Question

When staff (using a company gmail account) receive an email from a Microsoft email that require a code, the email with the code gets blocked at google with this error (email comes from ******@messaging.microsoft.com): 550-5.7.26 Unauthenticated email from microsoft.com is not accepted due to 550-5.7.26 domain's DMARC policy. Please contact the administrator of 550-5.7.26 microsoft.com domain if this was a legitimate mail. Please visit 550-5.7.26 https://support.google.com/mail/answer/2451690 to learn about the 550 5.7.26 DMARC initiative. Google is stating this issue needs to be resolved at Microsofts end. I could really use some help, we need to get these microsoft emails.
