Hi Microsoft, any walkaround to install KB5023697 in Window Server 2016
KB5023788 reboots server while KB5023697 is still installing

During SSM Maint Window (with WSUS) deployment of Windows Server 2016 updates the Servicing Stack (KB5023788) update appears to install in parallel with the large Cumulative update (KB5023697). When Servicing Stack update successfully completes the server is rebooted - apparently while the Cumulative update is still installing. This causes the cumulative update to fail install with error 0x800F0841 and a pop-up at login wanting explanation for unexpected reboot. How do I prevent updates from rebooting.

Reeves, Louis 1 Reputation point2023-04-18T20:14:32.66+00:00 I have a 2016 DC and the same thing happened. I did not see this until 4/18/2023. The SSU will not remove so how are we supposed to fix these? is a fixe coming in april?

I have had a similar issue today with some of our machines attempting to install
2023-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 (KB5027219)
along side
2023-03 Servicing Stack Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 (KB5023788)
it attempts to install, then randomly reboots the machine
