Hi folks!!! The extra large Folder view in Explorer is only showing a half size thumbnail. Is there a way to revert it to the windows 10 full size thumbnail? If not is there software that does? Thanks alot in advance.

Hello Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to

    1. The "thumbnail.db" hidden files, which contain the data to display the previews, can be reset and rebuilt in a number different ways on Windows 10 if you're having this problem.
    2. Run Disk Cleanup from Select C:\ Drive from Properties- > General -> Disk Cleanup - >Cleanup system files and also select Thumbnail. --If the reply is helpful, please Upvote and Accept as answer--

I would also like to see the old large thumbnail of Windows 10, also implemented on Windows 11. Still I don't think this is possible. Hopefully in a future update...

There's no built-in method to switch to full size folder thumbnails, but you can replace the icon masks with ones that will give you full size thumbnails using a tool such as CustomizerGod.

Here's a tutorial . The included link to the custom icon masks is broken, but you can find them here.

In Win 10, displaying a user specified image superimposed on the folder was a highly useful feature in organizing image folders. Win 10 example:

    Jet win10

(Note: it works in large icon mode also.)

Win 11 renders feature almost useless by displaying only a fraction of the image and yet doesn't fix a problem or add functionality.

Jets This breaks all the effort put into organizing my image files.
