Excel 2021 cannot see loaded macros in the 'Macros' section of the development toolbar, clicking on the program in the VB will forcibly close the excel, but this situation only occasionally occurs in one table at the same time, not all tables.

What version of Excel was this macro file created from, or did this macro created by one add-in? It's recommended to check whether this issue also occur with other verions of Excel. Besides, as the Excel auto-quit issue occurs only for a specific workbook, I suggest you right click one worksheet tab of the workbook > Move or Copy > Create a copy to have a check. You may also go to Windows Event Viewer > Windows logs > Applications > check whether there is any related error record. If so, please check its error module. Yeah, the macro name won't show up in the list, like your second image. This macro file was created from Excel 2016 or2019, and now the issue occurs with Excel 2021. Just now I have a try, as you mentioned, this issue dosen't occur with Excel 2016! But it still occurs in a copy one with Excel 2021. Please locate to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\vfs\ProgramFilesCommonX64\Microsoft Shared\VBA\VBA7.1, select and right-click on VBE7.DLL > Properties > Details > check its File Version.

Then I suggest you update your Office to Version 2303 (Build 16227.20258) first to have a check.

Hi, thanks for your sustained attention. Following your way, I found the File Version is 7.1.11.29. Sorry, I don't know the Office Version you mentioned.

Hi @琪夏 According to the link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office-2021#retail-versions-of-office-2021, the newest version is Version 2303 (Build 16227.20258), sp I suggest you update the Office version via go to one Office app > Account > Product Information > Update Options > Update Now.

If the issue still persists, it's recommended to roll back to previous version to check this issue.

Please press Win+R to open Run dialog box.

Enter "C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\officec2rclient.exe" /update user updatetoversion=16.0.15601.20148.

For Version 2208 (Build 15601.20148), the VBE7.DLL version number is older too: 7.1.11.27.
