What is the folder structure & how onedrive files stored on its server?

Hi guys, I am looking for the Onedrive integration with my CRM where I have a file management module, and I want to reorganize the current folder structure I have like this, myMainDirectory/folder1/subFolder1/level_3/myfile.txt
I have a doubt, what is the best method to store the files & folders in a proper structure?

I want to know the folder structure/hierarchy that Onedrive files & folders which we create on a UI stored on its server side.
Is it storing the folders, subfolders & files in the same hierarchy which we can see in the UI, or is it storing under one parent directory with all its subfolders files?

Can somebody guide me on this?
