Hello,
I have some doubts with Bitlocker, when I printed the Bitlocker key to save it in case I needed it in the future, I saw that the device identifier that appears there was different from the device identifier that it puts on the computer. Faced with this contradiction, disable Bitlocker. Given this question, I have three doubts.
How is it possible that turning on Bitlocker generates a recovery key with a different device identifier than the one that appears on my NEW computer?
The other question would be if I reactivate Bitlocker, would it create a new recovery key for me referring to a new device identifier, this time the correct one?
In the printout of the Bitlocker Drive Encryption recovery key it says, as it is in my case: "If the identifier above does not match the one displayed on the computer, this is not the correct key to unlock the drive. Try with another recovery key", but where do I find another recovery key?. The computer where this issue is happening to me is new.
Thank you so much.
Greetings
Mikel
