What's the best way to install and update Teams for all users in an RDFarm environment?

I've installed Office LTSC Professional Plus 2021 with a volume license and configured to also install Teams, but it never seems to really install Teams so I've installed it manually on the RD session hosts using the EXE. I've Uninstalled Teams and Teams Machine Wide Installer from Control Panel on both hosts. Downloaded Teams 64 bit MSI and installed via command msiexec /i "C:\PathtoMSIInstaller\Teams_windows_x64.msi" ALLUSERS=1 Created shortcut in common startup folder for Teams.exe in C:\Program Files(x86) to automatically start Teams machine wide install. Seems to "install" Teams to user's local appdata folder every time, which takes some time. Reason for this is Teams wouldn't automatically start unless the user had Teams running or installed prior. I've since removed this and created a shortcut on the desktop for Teams.exe so if it doesn't start for users, they can run that shortcut to "install" and start. As of late, there has been a Teams update so users see the bar at the top of the Teams window that says "To keep using Teams, download the latest update. Having trouble? Contact your IT admin". If they quit the instance of Teams that auto started from their appdata folder, and run the .exe shortcut I put on the desktop from the Program Files directory, they are good to go. All in all, it just seems somewhat janky, so I'm seeing how others make it work.
