How to fix font when it wont reset?

Long story short i was clicking through Task Manager trying to end different tasks. When i went to click one task, the list jumped and i accidentally clicked a Font task and ended its string. I didnt think anything of it and decided to reboot my computer to reset the task. Or have it run again. But now my font is stuck to basic CMD text. If i reset font settings through windows, nothing happens. it doesnt change. and now as i check task manager, that task is yet to come back. it was automatic until i ended it. Can someone help me? Again, reseting fonts doesnt solve it. Rebooting doesnt solve it. I ran the standard CMD sfc and DISM cleanup and that didnt do anything.
