I searched for Microsoft text-to-speech on the internet. I see this link: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/products/cognitive-services/text-to-speech/. I click it and say, "Great, just what I was looking for!" On that page, I click on the green "Try Text to speech for free" button and I end up here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/cognitive-services/ So, I create my account thinking I'll get to try this amazing text-to-speech tech fast, but instead end up at some portal (https://portal.azure.com/#home) with HUNDREDS of apps and crap I don't want anything to do with! I do a search in the portal's search bar for text-to-speech and there's no direct link to the app or software or whatever it is... just some links so I click on Quick Start Text-to-speech thinking that must the the elusive app, and end up here instead: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cognitive-services/speech-service/get-started-text-to-speech?tabs=windows%2Cterminal&pivots=programming-language-csharp This has NOTHING to do with what I'm looking for. I don't want to put in a load of code and stuff. I want to try whatever Microsoft has for text-to-speech, not end up in AI Hell. I can search for text-to-speech in the internet and find any number of apps out there (a couple I've tried) that get you to where you need to go to get started without having to go through this nightmare. I still have no idea where this Microsoft text-to-speech app or software is, let alone how I can ever try it out! The mechanization men at Microsoft really put together a mess this time.

    Hello @Brad Davis

Thanks for reaching out to us, I think you want to quick try text to speech feature, like convert your text input to speech video with no code. Please let me know if I am not in the right direction. To do so, please fist Create a Speech resource in the Azure portal, and leverage Speech Studio - Audio Creation Center since the quickstart is based on SDK and need a code base.

    • Audio Content Creation: A no-code approach for text-to-speech synthesis. You can use the output audio as-is, or as a starting point for further customization. You can build highly natural audio content for a variety of scenarios, such as audiobooks, news broadcasts, video narrations, and chat bots. For more information, see the Audio Content Creation documentation.

Speech Studio is here - https://aka.ms/speechstudio/audiocontentcreation

Please create a Speech Service Resource and go to Speech Studio and go to your audio content creation center as below screenshot - User's image

As the screenshot, after creating a Speech Service resource as this guidance and going to your audio content creation center, you should able to create a video as above screenshot and choose the audio you want. Please let me know if you have more question.
