Zhu, Yun Liang 0 Reputation points2023-06-27T03:24:45.1033333+00:00 I had same issue and downloaded the same patch, but when I was installing it the popup window displayed few items with "restart pc - failed". so I shutdown pc restarted, it did not work; However, when I just clicked restart button, then came back to Setting, Windows Update, did Download and Install again, it fixed everything.

Erland Sommarskog 121.4K Reputation points MVP Volunteer Moderator2023-04-07T21:02:07.28+00:00 Rather than installing the GDR, I recommend that you download and install Cumulative Update 2, which is the most recent CU for SQL 2022 and has more fixes than the GDR: https://www.microsoft.com/download/details.aspx?familyid=4fa9aa71-05f4-40ef-bc55-606ac00479b1.
