One drive says its full and i cannot send or receive emails via Outlook/Hotmail

Hi there. Apparently my onedrive storage is over it's limit. I have never knowingly used onedrive and I cannot find out exactly what is stored on onedrive so that I can delete it. I have removed the onedrive app from my pc and i have unlinked my pc from onedrive. But I still cannot send or receive any emails? I have mailbox space - that is not full. I don't know what else to do. If you need to email me obviously i won't receive it, but you can send it to ******@hotmail.com - a friends email. Please help as I'm worried what critical emails I have missed. Thanking you in advance

HI there! I got exactly the same nonsense today on my Hotmail account. It only restricted it on my phone though. I think Microsoft are just trying to sell you their "365" product. At the end of the day, it not your email, it belongs to Microsoft. I have had my Hotmail account for about 25 years so it is used for everything. Its a bit very mean of Microsoft to try and force you to buy their products in this way. Hope you can get your account to work again. In the meantime, I suggest you email everyone in your address book with your Gmail account which you will no doubt have as a standby.

I also have had for probably 25 years. I have deleted thousands of emails and from deleted folder and still not receiving emails. Now i am saying goodbye to hotmail and have made a new gmail acount. Thanks microsoft

Same here. Have been using Hotmail for ages, never had any issues. I see that previous messages here are all very recently, makes me wonder.

Did anyone get a warning email stating the emails would be suspended? I don't even know how long I've not been receiving emails for.
