Simplest solution may be to logon as another user with local admin right, navigate to Control Panel\System\Advanced\User Profiles and delete the problematic profile. Then when the user next logs on a new profile will be created from an image in \default user

This worked. I had a problem finding the advanced\user profile option from the control panel. I eventually found it hiding under the System/About/Device specifications screen.
My C drive space available went from 5 GB to 90 GB !!!!!
It's taking me many hours to reestablish my environment and (for some reason) having to install many of the applications I use
I would like to know why this massive bloat occurred and what I have to do to avoid it in the future
