Outlook 365 Windows 10 opens and closes folders sidebar when switching between email accounts

Last week Outlook 365 Version 2303, Windows 10 Version 22H2, started quickly opening and closing the Personal Folders sidebar when switching between Outlook and Domain email accounts. This 'action' causes the contents of the mail delivery pane and reading pane to suddenly shift left and then right again. We have several email accounts half of which are Outlook derivatives and half are GoDaddy domain addresses. All of them are installed as Microsoft Exchange accounts. Why is this happening and how to fix it?

Same issue for me. Folder pane is pinned, three corporate O365 accounts configured. When I am browsing a folder in account 1, then click a folder from account 2, the following events happen:

the message list pane goes blank

the reading pane goes blank

the folder pane appears to collapse to the left, then immediately expand to the right

during the animation of the folder pane collapsing and expanding, the contents of the message list pane can be seen in right side of the folder pane

The entire UI is sluggish. It's as if a full UI initialization is happening each time I change accounts. I've seen similar behavior from other Office applications re-initializing the entire printer list each time the print dialog is shown, so this may be the new coding standard.

Did you mean the folder panel automatically minimizes and expands when switching between email accounts?

Example:

I tested in my lab:

Client: Outlook 365 Version 2303, Windows 10 Version 22H2

Accounts: two EXO mailboxes with several auto-mapped mailboxes, one Outlook.com mailbox, one personal folder

But seemed not able to reproduce this issue.

Is this issue occurring on all clients in your organization or just some of them?

Have you pinned the folder pane?

Can confirm, I just noticed this same behavior in the last few days. When switching from my personal mailbox to a department shared mailbox, the sidebar closes and immediately reopens. I do have it pinned so it should not collapse at all. This new "feature" if that's what it is, is quite irritating because I move between the two mailboxes every few minutes. Any help would be appreciated!
