I get this error when tryng to seize fsm roles: Primary DC crushed .

2nd error on DNS MANAGER: DC02 4015 Warning Microsoft-Windows-DNS-Server-Service DNS Server 2023-04-09 04:37:44 PM The DNS server has encountered a critical error from the Active Directory. Check that the Active Directory is functioning properly. The extended error debug information (which may be empty) is "". The event data contains the error. Please assist.

Please run;

Dcdiag /v /c /d /e /s:%computername% >C:\dcdiag.log (run on PDC emulator) repadmin /showrepl >C:\repl.txt (run on any domain controller) ipconfig /all > C:\%computername%.txt (run on EVERY domain controller) ipconfig /all > C:\problemworkstation.txt (run on problem pc)

Also check the domain controller System and Replication (DFS or FRS) event logs for errors since last boot. Post the Event Source and Event IDs of any found. (no evtx files)

then put unzipped text files up on OneDrive and share a link.

Morning,Please note that the PDC emulator crushed and its offline DC03. I have re run those commands without editing them as suggested. still the dcdiag.log file is missing, run the below command on existing domain controller

dcdiag /v /c /d /e /s:%computername% >C:\dcdiag.log

Hi Dave . I tried to change DC=RootDNSServers ownership from system to the user environment account but the problem still exist and the same 4015 event keeps showing.
