Issue with ports

Hello. This probably a very silly problem here.
Okay so i am hosting a game server from my VM for testing purposes.
I have opened ports on the control panel of azure website. 17091 UDP and 80 TCP.
I want it so i can connect from my local machine. I've tried already and its found the server but not actually connecting.
Can anyone help with this?

vipullag-MSFT 26,481 Reputation points2020-10-09T05:02:03.053+00:00 As you mentioned that the required ports are opened in NSG attached to the VM. Then the ports should be accessible from the Public IP of the VM. You can use this tool and check if the ports are opened.
And if you see that the ports are closed, then for Windows VM you should also need to allow the ports on windows firewall.
If you get this ports are open, then you can check if the relevant services are running on the ports.
