How to fix 0x800705b4 preparing device for mobile management. Ran into a problem with following setup steps.

Previously experienceed EFI issue, then I reset my laptop to factory default. While setting up for work or school error 0800705b4 came up and now I can't move back to do personal setup instead. Tried to do autopilot diagnostics but nothing works . Please help, I need my laptop for school .

    The error code 0x800705b4 indicates a timeout issue if you cannot open the windows here are some options to you

    Enter Safe Mode Boot your computer into Safe Mode to determine if the issue is related to a specific driver or software.

    Perform a System Restore

    • Follow the steps to enter Safe Mode, as mentioned above.

    I had the same error code and same message in OOBE when setting up my work machine. Not sure if the root cause is same as yours. I fixed the issue by deleting this device from Company Portal and re-install OS then go through OOBE, the "Preparing your device for mobile management" step still took long time but finally pass.
