My Microsoft Office just updated to Version 2302. I used to be able to use my quick parts/auto text in comments. Now that function is gone, is there a way to use the Insert + quick parts within comments? We use it a lot for our journal with editing, truly sad if this function is gone.

    Hi @Jessica Rogers

is there a way to use the Insert + quick parts within comments?

Please disable modern comments via going to Word > Options > General, clear the checkbox of 'Enable modern comments' > OK, then restart Word to have a check. (This setting is temporary and will be removed in the future.)

I suggest you vote up the similar thread 'Make Quick Parts work in Modern Comments' in Microsoft Feedback community.

This way, you can help Microsoft engineers have a better visibility on what issues that you’re experiencing with Office product and which features are most important to you.

    Thanks for your understanding.
