After deleting user profiles from Windows 10 devices, the deleted users still show up int he UAC list/prompt. What is the process to make sure those locally deleted users do not show up in the UAC list? The profiles were removed via "Advanced System Settings > Advanced > User Profiles > Settings".

    @Ernesto Gonzalez Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A. From the statement above I could understand you have an AAD/Hybrid AD joined device. So the issue causing user accounts could be used to join or register the device from Azure AD.

    Kindly validate if this is case by navigating to:

    Select Start > Settings > Accounts > Access work or school . Select the account you wish to remove, then select Disconnect. If you don't find the account there then do let me know.

    Thanks,

    @Ernesto Gonzalez

    Thank you for your response. Kindly try the following:

    • Open registry editor and navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
    • Look for the impacted user profile under ProfileImagePath
    • Delete the profile

    User's image

    Also check under Control Panel\User Accounts\User Accounts\select the account you want to disable UAC for \ Change User account Control settings \ Toggle down to "Never Notify" and hit OK.

    User's image

    If the issue still persist then I would recommend to raise a support case.

    Thanks,
