Apply compliance policy for registered devices

Question

Hello, communiti. I have a compliance policy that checks for an installed program on a device. If the program is not installed, the device is not in compliance, if the program is installed, the device is considered to be in compliance.

There is no problem for Azure Joined and hybrid devices. But what about devices that are registered. If I understand correctly, you need to install Company Portal and add the device so that it is managed by Intune MDM.

Please let me know if this is the case.

Is it also possible to check with such a policy without adding it to Intune?

Yes, you are right. After we enroll AAD registered devices to Intune, your compliance policy will also be no problem for these AAD registered devices.

No, the compliance policy is only applied to Intune managed devices.
