Domain Controller Computer Configuration are not syncing

I am new to domain, and I have setup a domain controller and added in system into that domain. I have created one organization unit and added some users in to that OU. Till now ok. Lot of issues I am facing. I have created GPO with Allow login through remote desktop under Computer Configuration User Rights Assignment. And added that domain user as well as remote desktop users and forced that gpupdate. But when I am access by RDP with domain users in an client machine, it says "The connection was denied because user is not authorised for remote login". Its getting very frustrating. Also Power options showing "Power option not available".

Hello Himanshu Dwivedi,

Thank you for posting in our Q&A forum.

1.I have created GPO with Allow login through remote desktop under Computer Configuration User Rights Assignment.

For this GPO setting, you should link this GPO to an OU with client PCs.

2.And then configure "adding the domain user to this gpo setting and forced that gpupdate.
3.Add the domain user accounts into local Remote Desktop Users group on the client PCs.
4.Check if you can login the client PCs via RDP.

Hello, Thanks for response Point number 3 worked for me. I simply logged on to 1 client pc an made a member of domain user. But think like if there are 100 of Pc's , it will be difficult to go to each and every PC and do the same procedure. How to do Point No 3 from GPO.

We can add domain user accounts or domain groups to remote desktop users to client PCs via gpo.

Create an GPO and link to OU with client PCs.
Computer Configuration\Preferences\Local users and groups.

When I am trying to restart or shutdown from start menu it showing, There are currently no power option available. Not shutdown or restart button showing.

You can check the gpo setting below:

User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar Or Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar

Remove and prevent access to the Shut Down, Restart, Sleep, and Hibernate commands.

If you enable this policy setting, the Power button and the Shut Down, Restart, Sleep, and Hibernate commands are removed from the Start menu. The Power button is also removed from the Windows Security screen, which appears when you press CTRL+ALT+DELETE.

Hello Thanks for your kind help. I have made the changes as per your suggestion. Please still the buttons are not visible. User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar Or Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar Below screenshot shows the Default Domain Policy and it is linked to OU in which Computer and users are added.
