Does Azure Gov have Azure Cosmos DB for Postgre Cluster?

When I try and create, it give me "Cluster name must be available." no matter how unique the name is. Is this service not available in Gov? If not, when or can I request access to it?

Any insight if it will be coming to Gov? If so, any ETA? If not, then I'll seek alternative solution.

Wayne You can start using the product in public cloud, even if for experiments and confirmation that product would allow you to meet your performance requirements, while you are waiting for availability in Azure Govt cloud. Hi Wayne Thank you for reaching out. We’re sorry for confusion and your experience. Azure Cosmos DB for PostgreSQL is not available in Azure Government cloud. Please refer to the list of supported regions on this page. If you see one of the unsupported regions, including an Azure Government region, in Azure portal, it is an issue that we will be fixing soon. We apologize for confusion. Regards, Oury

Azure Cosmos DB for PostgreSQL team has been working on increasing the product presence in public Azure regions. We will continue to add more public regions as per customer demand.

Azure Cosmos DB for PostgreSQL is going to be enabled in other Azure clouds, including Azure Government regions at a future date. It is not in our short term plan though. Considering other priorities in the product development it’s at least 6-12 months from now.

Oury, I realize it's only been a couple months, since your reply. I am also looking for Azure Cosmos DB for PostgreSQL in Azure gov. Is there a better place that I can track the ETA and where this may fit on the roadmap? Or can you confirm that 6-12 months from 3/25/2024 remains as the most accurate estimate? Thank you
