Hello there! I have a question about the Authentication of the microsoft accounts that was needed. I have done it on my work account at work on my PC. I tried to log in to my Outlook at home to my work account and all I get is that I have to set up 2FA up again. ( Its a school / Business account) So how does that even work? Am I supposed to register every device I log in from into my work account for 2FA or is it simply not working properly? Im using the Microsoft authenticator.

Microsoft 365 and Office Install, redeem, activate For business Windows
Microsoft Security Microsoft Authenticator

You shouldnt have to setup MFA again if you are using the same account. Registering a device is not really the same thing though. Your company may be using something like Intune and requires compliance and registration before any new device can access the Azure resources https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/register-your-personal-device-on-your-work-or-school-network-8803dd61-a613-45e3-ae6c-bd1ab25bf8a8
