Edge work profile keeps losing cookies on browser close

Hi,

I have a strange problem on my laptop. My Edge Work profile keeps losing all cookies on terminating the browser session, so next time I launch it I have to re-login to all my apps. The only exception is all AAD backed services which I guess is logged in due to the profile and not cookies. Anyway - this does get in the way of my productivity and I wonder if there are known issues / solutions? I tried googling and did not see something exact.

    @Sayan Ghosh ,

I try to do some research about this issue and found that other users had also reported a similar issues recently.

    1. Cookie bug in Edge as of Oct. 9, 2020
    2. Edge Stable 86.0.622.38 is ignoring cookies and site settings

If we can refer to the response from MissyQ, we can notice that Microsoft engineers are aware of this issue.

As a current workaround, you can make sure that the Hosted app data option is not selected under edge://settings/clearBrowsingDataOnClose.

Further, you can press the ALT + SHIFT + I key in the MS Edge browser and try to provide the feedback to Microsoft regarding this issue.

you´re not allone with this issue.

same problem with my browser since the last update (function Update 2004)
i checked all settings in Edge but nothing will delete cookies.
so every time I start edge, I have to log in to google, microsoft and so on
and have to accept cookies on every website every time.

    ok...
    here´s a solution.
not as good as a fix from microsoft but quick and dirty.

    uninstall the new edg browser.
the old egde will be keept on your computer.

then google (or search) for "new egde browser" and install it new.

    tried that and works.
