I opened a Microsoft support ticket and today they offered a workaround to use until this issue is resolved. We created a Mail Flow rule in the Exchange Admin Center that checks to see if the recipient is the person ******@contoso.com. If so, the rule will Block the message and Delete it without notifying anyone. After enabling that rule users are no longer seeing the wayward verification message. The friendly technician offered to call me when the underlying issue is resolved so we can disable or delete the rule. It's a timely workaround, since today I just had a session for 30 people where I introduced Bookings With Me.
