Database Mail in Azure sql MI

May I know the only way is to use a external smtp to send email ? can't use the o365 email server and account (Azure AD account) ?

Requires authentication Microsoft 365 or Office 365 username and password required

any requirement of the sender email acccount ?

Hi @sakuraime , apologies for the confusion. Printer is also an option here. As mentioned in the description it could be LOB application too.

Also, sender email account will be email/username used for office 365 (link for one of the article). I have not tried it this yet but if needed please let me know and I can go through step by step process on the same
